On July 11th and 12th, 2024, the college's Literary Club hosted a two-day Bridge Course on Communicative English to help first-year students across various programs improve their language skills. The program aimed to lay a solid foundation in effective communication, a critical skill for academic and professional success. Mr. A. Albert, General Manager of DICE Education Pvt. Ltd., conducted the sessions, captivating participants with his expertise and engaging teaching methods. On the first day, Mr. Albert covered the fundamentals of communicative English, emphasizing its role in building confidence and creating opportunities. The second day included an interactive afternoon session filled with language-based activities that encouraged active participation. Students showcased their progress and enthusiasm, demonstrating their newly acquired skills. The event opened with a warm welcome by Ms. Mohana Kaviya from I B.Com. Faculty members, along with senior students from the II and III years, attended to support and motivate the first-year participants. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Sr. Gnana Sowndari of I B.Sc. Mathematics, expressing appreciation to everyone who contributed to the event’s success. The Bridge Course was highly effective in equipping first-year students with essential communication skills and boosting their confidence for future challenges. This initiative underscores the college’s dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals ready to excel in academics and beyond.
