The Internal Quality assurance cell (IQAC) consistently works for catalytic improvement and consciously contributes towards the overall excellence of the institution.

Objectives

• Documentation of all curricular /co-curricular/ extracurricular activities on campus.

• Promotion of the awareness of global educational strategies.

• Co-ordination of quality related activities and to disseminate information on best practices amongst the faculty through various programmes and activities such as seminars, workshops, symposia, conferences, panel discussions

• Examination of the relevance and quality of current academic programs and initiate new courses /programs

Introduction

Honesty is a fact of moral character that connotes positive and virtuous attributes such as integrity, truthfulness, straightforwardness of conduct along with the absence of lying, cheating, theft etc. No legacy is as rich as honesty.

1. Title of the Practice

Honesty Shop

2. Objective of the Practice

To make the student-users of the shop to pick up edibles and stationery items on their own and drop money in coin boxes without anyone to monitor

3. The Context

Inculcating sprit of honesty among the students overlooking their needy position

4. The Practice

Goods are kept orderly with price tags in order to facilitate the self-purchases of chosen items

5. Evidence of Success

The honesty shop has received substantial reception from the users. The profit earned out of shop is used for assisting needy students.

6. Problems Encountered and Resources Required

Initially, few users dropped mutilated currency notes during shopping; however the same was eradicated by counseling. In order to compare the healthy competitive-honesty, mobile shopping facility is expected to be adapted to each class with schedule. Existing decentralized-institutional level of honesty shop functioning at each department could be made as centralized-institutional level of honesty shop.

Introduction

Encourage mutual respect and understanding between students and staff by accepting a range of religious beliefs in order to foster tolerance. Encourage harmony and togetherness among the faculty and staff in order to create a sense of community on campus.

Promoting Inter Religious Harmony Through Prayer

2. Objectives of the Practice

• Regardless of one's religious background, to provide people with spiritual sustenance to promote wellbeing and personal development.

• To promote the growth of moral principles among the university community by encouraging moral behavior and honesty.

• To establish a welcoming and inclusive campus culture by fostering an atmosphere where people are appreciated and accepted for their religious convictions.

3. The Context

The institution reflects the cultural diversity of the area by admitting personnel and students from a variety of religious backgrounds. Recognizing the importance of spirituality and moral development in education, the organization works to create a space where people feel free to practice any religion they practice.

4. The Practice

On campus, prayer sessions are held regularly at 9.00 am on all working days and include hymns and religious songs from all major faiths. The religious traditions that are practiced by everyone in this institution are respected and acknowledged in the way that these sessions are run. Students and staff are welcome to participate in the prayer sessions at their discretion, in accordance with their religious views.

5. Evidence of Success

Religious harmony is evidently seen from the positive attitude and approach of the students in curricular and co-curricular activities that establish their active participation in religious festivals. Moreover, any kind of indifference towards religion is totally absent inside the campus as well as the in the villages from where the students hail from. All the religious festivals are equally well celebrated with piety and reverence to Gods and Goddesses.

6. Problems Encountered and Resources Required

At first, the organization faced difficulties in guaranteeing fair representation and inclusiveness of every religious group at prayer gatherings. To solve this, it was necessary to have resources such a dedicated area for prayer sessions, audio-visual equipment for playing religious music, and concerted efforts to properly arrange and manage the sessions. With the aid of these resources, a warm and inviting space will be created where people of many religious backgrounds could take part in prayer sessions with peace and harmony.
